Many things happened with the passing of time. Almost all the damage, and signs of this breaking down will begin to emerge. This is as true with furniture as well as with other things. Paint chips and cracks, wood becomes scratched or dented, surfaces become dirty. All of this is the inevitable result of the passage of time on the furniture.
Time to have another dramatic effect on the furniture.
